Privacy Policy — Color Trap
Effective date: 2 November 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Color Trap (the “App”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) handles information when you use the App.
1. Information we collect
We do not ask you to create a personal account and we do not collect your email address, phone number, contacts, photos, or precise location.
The App stores settings and local game statistics on your device. These local settings and statistics can be removed by clearing the App’s data or uninstalling the App.
2. Anonymous Firebase leaderboard
If you use Challenge mode or open the leaderboard, the App uses Firebase Anonymous Authentication to create a random identifier. This identifier is not your email address and does not identify you by your real name.
For the public leaderboard, the App may send to Cloud Firestore:
- a random Firebase user identifier;
- your display name or an automatically generated player name;
- your best Challenge score;
- the Challenge mode and update time.
Your display name and score are shown in the public leaderboard so that players can see the ranking. Please do not use your real name or any sensitive information as your display name.
3. Advertising and consent
The App uses Google AdMob to display banner, interstitial, and rewarded ads. Depending on your region and your consent choices, Google and its advertising partners may process information such as:
- advertising or app-related identifiers;
- device and app information;
- approximate location inferred from an IP address;
- ad and app interaction information; and
- diagnostic information used to measure ad performance and prevent fraud.
The App uses Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) to present consent choices where required. You can also manage advertising choices through your Android or Google advertising settings.

4. Data deletion requests
You may request deletion of your Firebase leaderboard data, including your anonymous leaderboard record, display-name reservation, score, and ranking data.
To request deletion, use the contact email address or contact form published in the Contact section of this page or on the App’s Google Play listing. Include your display name and, if available, the approximate date when you used the leaderboard. We will use the request only to identify and delete the relevant leaderboard data.

5. Data security and retention
Firebase and Google AdMob transmit data over encrypted connections such as HTTPS/TLS. We retain leaderboard data while it is needed to operate the ranking, prevent abuse, and respond to deletion requests. Local game data remains on your device until you clear the App’s data or uninstall the App.
6. Children
Color Trap is intended for a general audience. We do not knowingly request personal accounts or knowingly collect personal information directly from children. If you believe that a child provided personal information, contact us using the Contact section of this page or the Google Play listing.
7. Third-party services
The App uses Google AdMob, Google’s User Messaging Platform, Firebase Authentication, and Cloud Firestore. Their processing is governed by Google’s applicable privacy policies and service terms.
8. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the App’s data practices or services change. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when changes are published.
9. Contact
