With the intersections between 'Design' and 'Research' still debated and open for interpretation, CAMD's Center for Design promotes and hosts the annual “Design Research Week”, in partnership with the Design Museum Foundation, CHeT, Center for the Arts, Bouvé College of Health Sciences, The Magic and Medicine Lab, and more.
A week-long event to showcase and debate design-led research projects and initiatives: keynotes, panels, workshops, and exhibitions physically and virtually welcomed Northeastern’s research community and external stakeholders, partners, and guests, connecting actors across the design ecosystem in the Boston area, and beyond.
Thank you to all those who helped to bring Design Research Week 2023 to life, especially Jocelyn Rice and the team at Design Museum Foundation; Burnes Center for Social Change; Trish Leavitt, Ceci Menchetti, Annabelle Tocco, Brittani LeBel, Keith McCluskey and others in CAMD's Dean's office; Keith Motley at Cabral Center; and all those who presented their research as part of Design Research Week 2023.
