This Privacy Policy describes how CeylonGold (the "App") collects, uses, and shares your information. As a digital marketer and developer, you know that transparency is key to building trust with your users.

Device Information: We collect information about your mobile device, such as the model and operating system version, to ensure the App functions correctly.
Push Notification Tokens: To provide real-time gold price alerts, we use Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM). If you choose to enable notifications in the app settings, a unique device token is generated. Collection of this token is optional, and you can opt-out at any time by turning off notifications in the app.
Account Data / Profile Information: If you choose to sign in using Google, we collect your name, email address, and profile identifier to create and maintain your account context.
2. Third-Party Services
The App uses third-party services that may collect information used to identify you:
Google Play Services: Used for app distribution and core functionality.
Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM): Used to deliver "Price Alert!" and "Test Alert" notifications.
Firebase Realtime Database: Used to store and sync live gold price data from sources like RanLanka and GoldAPI.io.
3. Data Safety & Security
Encryption: We value your trust in providing us your information, thus we are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. Data is encrypted in transit between the App and Firebase servers.
Data Retention: We do not store personal financial data or location history. The device tokens used for notifications are stored securely by Google Firebase.
4. Children’s Privacy
These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13.
05. Location
We use your location data to provide features such as finding nearby jewelry shops. This data is processed locally on your device to calculate distance and is not stored on our servers.
