Use of the App is limited to individuals who are at least thirteen (13) years of age. By accessing or using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this minimum age requirement. If you are under the age of majority as defined by the laws of your jurisdiction, you may only use the App with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian. By permitting a minor to use the App, the parent or legal guardian assumes full responsibility for the minor’s use, including compliance with these Terms of Use.

• Account Creation: In order to access and utilize certain features, functionalities, or services offered within the App, you will be required to create a user account. Account creation may be completed by registering with a valid email address, or by using third-party authentication providers such as Google or Apple. By initiating the registration process, you acknowledge and agree that the information you submit—whether it be your name, email address, or other required details—is truthful, complete, and current to the best of your knowledge. You further agree to promptly update such information as needed to ensure its continued accuracy and completeness.

• Accurate Information: As a condition of account registration and continued use of the App, you expressly agree to provide only accurate, up-to-date, and complete information. You understand that failure to do so may result in suspension or termination of your account and access to the App’s features.

• Account Security: You are solely responsible for maintaining the security and confidentiality of your login credentials, including but not limited to your password and authentication methods. You acknowledge that any activity that occurs under your account will be deemed to have been performed by you. If you become aware of any unauthorized use of your account or any breach of security, you agree to immediately notify us through the appropriate communication channels provided in the App. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to safeguard your account information.

• License: Subject to your compliance with these Terms of Use, we hereby grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to access and use the App solely for your personal, non-commercial purposes. This license does not grant you any ownership interest in the App or its content. Access to the App is available in two tiers: free users are provided with limited features, while access to premium content and advanced functionalities is reserved for users with an active paid subscription. All rights not expressly granted herein are reserved by us.

• Prohibited Activities: You agree to use the App only in a manner that is lawful and in accordance with these Terms. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, you expressly agree not to:

  1. Use the App for any unlawful, unauthorized, or fraudulent purpose;

  2. Attempt to modify, adapt, translate, decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble, or hack any portion of the App, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code or underlying ideas or algorithms of the App;

  3. Interfere with, disrupt, or create an undue burden on the operation of the App or the networks or services connected to the App;

  4. Employ any automated system, software, or device—including but not limited to bots, scrapers, spiders, or offline readers—to access, retrieve, or use the App or any of its content in a manner not expressly authorized by us.

To maintain a high-quality and supportive learning environment, all users are encouraged to follow these guidelines when creating and sharing flashcard decks. These standards ensure that content remains relevant, respectful, and valuable to the entire community. By adhering to these principles, you help create a space that promotes effective learning and meaningful collaboration.

1. Stay On-Topic
   Ensure that every flashcard is directly related to the deck’s title or subject. Avoid including unrelated facts or concepts.

2. Keep It Clear and Concise
   Use straightforward language. Flashcards should communicate one idea at a time for quick understanding.

3. Be Accurate
   Verify all information before publishing. Misinformation undermines the value of the deck and the learning experience.

4. Avoid Plagiarism
   Use your own words. If referring to sources, paraphrase and provide proper attribution when necessary.

5. Use Friendly and Respectful Language
   Maintain a positive tone. Content should be inclusive, age-appropriate, and free from offensive or harmful language.

6. Maintain Proper Formatting
   Present information with correct grammar, punctuation, and structure to ensure readability.

7. Avoid Spam and Self-Promotion
   Do not include promotional material, personal branding, or irrelevant external links.

8. Use Examples When Relevant
   Practical examples, mnemonics, or short case references enhance understanding and retention.

9. Avoid Overloading Cards
   Limit each flashcard to one concept or question. Split complex ideas into multiple cards for better learning flow.

10. Respect Community Standards
    All shared decks must comply with the platform’s community rules, including zero tolerance for hate speech, discrimination, or misinformation.

• Subscription Plans: Certain features of the App require a paid subscription. Subscription details, including pricing and benefits, are available within the App.

• Payment Processing: Payments are processed through third-party platforms (e.g., Google Play, Apple App Store). By subscribing, you agree to their terms and conditions.

• Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through the platform where you purchased it or on any supported device where the app is installed. No refunds will be provided for unused portions of the subscription period.

• Our Content: The App and its content, including but not limited to questions, solutions, graphics, and trademarks, are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Any form of copying, reproduction, or unauthorized distribution is strictly prohibited.

• Your Content: If you submit content (e.g., feedback, suggestions), you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display your content in connection with the App.

Your use of the App is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information. By using the App, you agree to the terms of the Privacy Policy.

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to update, modify, or discontinue any aspect of the App or these Terms of Use at any time, with or without prior notice. In the event of material changes to these Terms, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you, such as by posting a notice within the App or sending an in-app notification or email. Your continued access to or use of the App following the effective date of any such modifications shall constitute your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the amended Terms, you must cease using the App immediately.

• By You: You may stop using the App at any time by requesting for the cancellation of your account.

• By Us: We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms or for other reasons at our discretion.

• Effect of Termination: Upon termination, your right to use the App will cease, but sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.

The App is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without any warranties, representations, or guarantees of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or accuracy. We do not warrant that the App will operate uninterrupted, be free from defects, errors, or security vulnerabilities, or be available at all times or in all locations.

While we endeavor to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the content provided, including questions, explanations, and solutions, such content may contain inaccuracies, typographical errors, or omissions. We do not guarantee the correctness, completeness, or usefulness of any content made available through the App. Users are encouraged to independently verify critical information.

Should you discover any errors or inconsistencies within the App, we welcome and appreciate your feedback. Reports of such issues may be submitted through the designated feedback mechanisms within the App, and we will make reasonable efforts to investigate and correct verified issues in a timely manner.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claims relating to the App is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, in the 12 months preceding the claim.
