The terms and conditions laid out apply to all categories of submission entries, should there be any exceptions, they will be made mentioned in the guidelines of each.

• You must be at least 18 years of age to be eligible for submission.

• We do not print previously published work, may it be posted online for any reason, except in exceptional circumstances. If we do, approval will be sought from the editor. Thus, if you desire to submit your work, do not change the work in any way, including the writing mechanics and layout.

• Cerulean Plumage acquires first serial rights and non-exclusive reprint rights which means that all writers can reprint their submitted works however they like after it has appeared in the publication. However, please indicate that the contribution originally appeared in Cerulean Plumage.

• Please keep in mind that you are exclusively credited for your work. Should you have a preferred form of name for the credit, please let us know. However, by using the service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. We may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information such as first and last name, birthday, e-mail address, and province or city. Rest assured that your data is treated securely and for purposes such as providing customer care, support, and immediate legal action when copyright infringement occurs. In any case, if you desire to input a name you want us to call you, a nickname of some sort, you have the liberty to do so.

• All creations to be submitted for consideration must be original. Once you do, you have pledged that it is yours. Should there be any dispute, it will bear grounds for retraction, specifically if it denotes copyright infringement.

• Please only send one submission at a time per category. Only once you receive a confirmation through your email that we have acquired your submission details can you submit once more. If your work is accepted for another literary publication, let us know as soon as possible.

• Work of any language is accepted. But, for works written besides Filipino, it must have an accompanying English translation.

• Our response time is up to 8 weeks. We only have a small team. We do appreciate your patience; thus, please do not query until a month has passed.

Submissions for Featured Category are open year-round to writers and entirely free! We showcase creations tri-weekly; thus, we warmly invite all writers to submit, may they be marginalized voices. Cerulean Plumage is a culturally-responsive run literary publication that fosters empowering and enriching spaces where inclusivity can thrive.

• Submit at least 1 to 3 works (with titles) for consideration, which total no more than 10 pages. No written piece can exceed 1,000 words. All submissions per category must be in one document only, preferably PDF.

• Please include a brief cover letter on the submission page. And in your cover letter, include a 2 to 5-sentence bionote.

• We offer editorial feedback for your works. Should you desire to have your work scrutinized by a panel of editors, please select the option on the submission page and indicate which work you want to have feedback on. This will incur a minimum fee of $4, depending on the length of the creation, with a seven-day turnaround. You shall initiate the payment of the purchase price immediately once your work is accepted.
