Working together, Galina and Carolin brought the Neuro-Valentine's eCard Collection to life. Galina is a neurologist who enjoys creating puns; she drew the first cards by hand and shared them in person with her local network. Carolin is a user experience designer and artist. While keeping Galina's personal handwriting and sketches as a baseline, Carolin transformed the cards into a new modern version. We hope you enjoy the vintage-y, biological ink-drawing aesthetic with a digital twist. Further projects for other neuro-punny holidays are coming!

We met in person in 2024 at this conference. In 2025, we were honored to present our project to others in the Disruptive Thinkers network. Our goal was to showcase how authentic connections and shared passions can create unexpected opportunities to realize meaningful projects—no matter how big or small.
Scroll down to see our interview with the DTN.
We decided to share our cards freely this year as a start
to make them accessible to all people who resonate with them.
If you want to contribute and share the love, you can:
1) Download a card to share by text, email, or social media.
2) Use our automated email form to send a quick pre-set email.
3) Or simply share the link of this website.
In this interview we talk about our project and that it “wouldn’t have happened if we didn’t meet at the conference”. See the video below to learn more about the backstory of the cards, a bit about ourselves, and the nourishing circumstances of the conference and network, which support such unexpected connections.
What made this possible? A community that supports psychological safety (a safe space), togetherness, deliberate disruption, and the openness to diverse minds and hearts. We are excited to be part of this and hope it sparks ideas in others!
