ABOUT ME!

My name is Jacob Glidden, and I was practically born wearing a pen clipped to my shirt. 

Art has been my life sense the very beginning. Crayons, pencils, whatever I could grab, I would draw with, and ON! 

The world bounced for me, as if it were an animated show from the 1930's. I swear as a kid sometimes I saw the world as if I drew it. I always felt and feel connected to a different world, one I loved and still love so much to share with others. Sometimes the world I saw was scary. But none the less inspirational!

 My love for animated shows and cooky comics has always inspired me to create worlds of my own. Which is exactly what I've done over the years and will CONTINUE to do for the years to come.  And as I grew up and continue to grow, I learn that this world we LIVE in is an amazing source of wildly weird and sometimes off-putting inspiration! 

All I want is for my art style to be recognized and my stories to be heard! Though my thoughts and ideas may never fully be understood, I'm hoping my comics may be a start!

I want this website to be GROUND ZERO for my comics! Keep all of my stories here for you to read for free. There is a Donation page for the people who really appreciate the stories and art I am producing on this site! Keep an eye out on the shop though! hope to find a reliable source for my hardcopy prints very soon!

*AMAZON RANT*

I love creating comics, but I DO NOT like having to work through big companies like Amazon to get my book published. Amazon allowed me to publish the book and then a few days later proceeded to tell me "Wester & Widdy" was too inappropriate for their platform. So they removed it. And THEN amazon changed their minds allowing me to publish it, which was awesome! They even allowed me to publish my first coloring book! With this I started selling hard copies! Not many though, only three! After waiting months to pay me Amazon finally sent an emailing saying I was going to get payed ! Which was followed by an emailing the next day informing me my entire account was detected as fraudulent and I am no longer entitled to the sales I made. Its all just way too complicated.
