HOD Message:
The Diploma in Ceramic Technology at Lukhdhirji Engineering College was started in 1970, with an intake of 20 students in the morning shift at the old campus. Today, the department has an intake of 30 students in the first year and operates from the new campus near ITI College, Mahendranagar, Morbi-2.
Over the years, the department has remained committed to providing quality technical education through a blend of theoretical knowledge, practical training, industry exposure, and innovation. Our well-equipped laboratories, industrial visits, workshops, expert interactions, and hands-on learning help students develop the skills required by the evolving ceramic industry.
Located in Morbi, a prominent ceramic manufacturing hub, our department provides students with valuable opportunities to connect academic learning with real-world industrial practices.
We encourage our students to learn, innovate, and develop into skilled, responsible, and industry-ready ceramic technologists who can contribute meaningfully to the ceramic sector and society.
