More information contact: CephNeuroConf@gmail.comA fundamental premise of the Cephalopod Neuroscience Conference is that all attendees will engage with one another in a professional and respectful manner. A major goal of this conference is to grow the community of researchers working with cephalopods, therefore we remind all attendees at all careers stages that respectful, clear, and open communication should be the goal of all interactions. No attendee may belittle, insult, or threaten another attendee. Any instances of inappropriate communications should be referred to a member of the organizing committee. The MBL Policies for Conference Attendees may be found here; all attendees should read and familiarize themselves with this policy before arrival.
Social gatherings are an important and enjoyable aspect of any conference. We expect that attendees will conduct themselves appropriately at any social gathering whether it occurs on MBL property or elsewhere during the conference. Be aware that any instance of harassment, sexual coercion, assault or intimidation constitutes a violation of this code of conduct, and may be reported by any observer to a conference organizer, or the the MBL EEO EEO Coordinator (Homestead 109, x7378, eeo@mbl.edu), or the Human Resources Director (x7422), or to the NIH at https://public.era.nih.gov/shape/public/notificationForm.era or 301-480-6701, or file a complaint with HHS OCR at the address below about concerns of harassment, including sexual harassment, discrimination, and other forms of inappropriate conduct at NIH-supported conferences.
