The short version. CEO Mode stores all of your content on your device only. There is no CEO Mode account and no CEO Mode server that collects your data. We do not run analytics or tracking, and we never sell your data. The app talks directly to a few third-party services (for weather, news, market data, and AI features) to provide its functionality — what each one receives is listed below.
CEO Mode ("the app", "we", "us") is a personal executive-productivity application. This policy explains how the app handles information when you use it. By installing and using CEO Mode you agree to this policy.
The information you enter into CEO Mode is saved in the app's private local storage on your device. This includes, depending on which features you use: your name, role, company, and profile photo; your tasks, goals, roadmap, journal entries, wins, decisions, and reminders; saved contacts and business-card details; health metrics you choose to enter; and your app settings and preferences.
This data stays on your device. It is not transmitted to a CEO Mode server, because there is no CEO Mode server. We — the developer — do not receive, store, or have access to it. If you uninstall the app or use Settings → Data & Privacy → Clear All Data, this information is permanently removed.
CEO Mode does not include advertising, third-party analytics SDKs, tracking pixels, or behavioural profiling. We do not build a profile of you and we do not sell or share personal data with data brokers.
To deliver certain features, the app makes requests directly from your device to the following third-party services. Each is governed by its own privacy policy.
Google Gemini API (Google) — powers the AI features (AI Assistant, daily brief, boardroom, negotiation simulator, etc.). When you use an AI feature, the text you submit and the relevant app context you have entered are sent to Google to generate a response.
Open-Meteo — weather and forecasts. Receives a city name or your approximate GPS coordinates (only if you grant location permission).
The Guardian (Open Platform) — news headlines for the Intelligence Hub. No personal data is sent.
Finnhub, CoinGecko, Frankfurter, open.er-api.com — stock indices, cryptocurrency prices, and currency exchange rates. No personal data is sent.
ESPN — football fixtures and standings. No personal data is sent.
Nager.Date — public-holiday dates. Receives only the country code for your selected region.
Firebase Authentication (Google) — used only if you choose to sign in. The app is fully usable without signing in. If you do sign in, Google processes your authentication credentials under Google's privacy policy.
AI-powered features send the text and context you provide to Google's Gemini API for processing. Do not enter information into AI features that you are not comfortable sharing with that service. AI responses may be inaccurate and should not be relied on as the sole basis for important decisions.
The app requests the following permissions only when you use the related feature, and uses them only for that purpose. You can grant or revoke any of them in your device settings.
Camera / Photos — to set a profile photo or business-card image.
Contacts — to add people to the in-app contacts / Executive Passport feature.
Calendar — to read and display your existing device calendar events.
Notifications — to deliver reminders, the daily brief, and alerts.
Health data — to display metrics in the Health Hub, if you connect it.
Location — to fetch weather for your current location.
Files / Storage — to import and export templates and data backups.
Your data is held in the app's private storage area, isolated from other apps by your device's operating system, and protected by whatever screen lock you have set. Requests to the third-party services above are made over encrypted HTTPS connections. No security measure is absolute; you are responsible for keeping your device secure.
CEO Mode is intended for business and professional users and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Because your data lives on your device, you are in direct control of it. You can export a full backup (Settings → Data & Privacy → Export My Data), erase everything (Clear All Data), or uninstall the app to remove all locally stored information.
We may update this policy as the app evolves. The "Last updated" date above will change when we do. Continued use of the app after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
