As we begin our Bible study hour, in the auditorium class, you will notice that we will sometimes have a white board or use the powerpoint projector so that we can teach effectively those of us who are visual learners. You will also notice that all that we use for our Bible study is nothing more than the Word of God. We hold on to the Word of God and it only because it is the Word of God and we do not need anything else. If you have the word from our Creator that is ALL SUFFICIENT, what else do you need? (2 Timothy 3:16-17 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, [17] that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.) We welcome questions and comments in our Bible study hour so that everyone can leave having their questions answered and fully understand what has been studied.
As we begin our worship hour, you will notice that all of the acts of worship are nothing more or anything else than what God has commanded because we believe that in everything, we must have Christ's authority to do it (Colossians 3:17 And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.) You will notice that we will engage ourselves in 5 different acts of worship:
Singing (Ephesians 5:19, Colossians 3:16)
Prayer (Acts 2:42, 1 Thessalonians 5:17)
Lord Supper (Acts 20:7, Acts 2:42, Matthew 26:26-29)
Giving (1 Corinthians 16:1-2, 2 Corinthians 8:1-15, 2 Corinthians 9:6-7)
Preaching from the Word of God ONLY (Acts 2:42, 2 Tim. 4:2, 1 Peter 4:11)
We do not worship with instruments of music because God has not given us authority or the choice to do such. We believe that God has the ability to command what He expects or wants and if He wanted it, then He would have asked for it.
