Registration form for NLIST, NDLI and Identity Cum Library Cards for Semester Ist
National Digital Library of India User Awareness Session (Online)-
Govt. MAM College Library Organized NDLI User Awareness Session on 26-11-2025 through Google Meet. Main objective of the session was to familiarize students and faculty members with the digital learning resources available on the NDLI platform.
The session started with a warm welcome by Librarian Mrs Anjum Nisar,who Briefly spoke about the growing importance of digital resources and encouraged everyone to make full use of NDLI for academics And research.
The main session was conducted by Resource Person, Mr. Rik Bhattacharya from NDLI IIT Kharagpur. He explained the features of NDLI in a very simple and clear manner through live demonstration, he shows how to use books, journals, articles and subject wise study material. Participants also got to know various tips for effectively using NDLI for their studies.
Towards the end, Junior Librarian, Mrs Romika, presented the Vote Of Thanks and expressed gratitude to resource person, Principal Prof. Archana Koul,Library Convener Dr.Munir Hussain, Faculty members and Students for joining the session and making it successful.
All Library Committee Members attended the program and played an active role in the smooth and successful organization of the event. Despite being conducted online, the session received an excellent response from the participants .The session was highly appreciated and proved beneficial for all attendees.
Library Orientation Program Held For Freshers Session 2025-2026
Govt. MAM College Library conducted a library Orientation Program for the freshers on 3-11-2025.The session was organized within the library premises. Main objective of this program was to help freshers to understand the library timings, basic rules, and facilities available for them.
Librarian Mrs. Anjum Nisar welcomed all the students and briefly introduces them about the purpose of orientation program. She introduced all the students with the library staff and explained the library timings, borrowing rules, and general guidelines that every student should follow while using the library. She also highlighted the importance of library in academic life and motivated the students to use library on daily basis. She also gave a brief description about the growing vast knowledge and how libraries are coping with them.
Junior Librarian Mrs Romika makes students aware about the digital resources like NDLI and ONOS accessed by the library. She also introduced the KOHA OPAC and explained how students can search books from this catalogue. She gave a brief description about the different sections of the library like General section, Book Bank section, Periodical section and Reference section.
All the Students were actively participated throughout the program and raised their queries confidently.
Overall program was very informative and helped the students to understand the importance of using library regularly.
