Membership Qualifications

Important Update: To be eligible for enrollment, your student must turn 7 years old by August 31st of the current academic year (2026). 

Thank you for your interest in Central Homeschool Academics (CHA).  Before requesting membership, please take time to carefully review our Home page.  This provides an overview of who we are, what we offer, and what we do not offer here at CHA.  

If you believe CHA is a good fit for your family, please review the membership qualifications below. 

Who may request membership to join CHA?

1. Current members of Central Homeschool Life Group (CHLG)

2. Any regular attendees of Central Church

3. Individuals who are not members of CHLG or Central Church may apply if they meet BOTH of the following:

   •  Provide a reference from a current CHA member, CHLG member or Central Church member whom they have known for 5+ years

   • Complete an interview with a member of the CHA Executive Committee to determine mutual fit 

Note- All families must be a registered Homeschool in the state of North Carolina and South Carolina and provide appropriate documentation including:

• North Carolina Homeschool ID

• OR established through the South Carolina Association of Independent Homeschools (or another SC homeschool organization)

All members of Central Homeschool Academics must agree to the Statement of Faith and Family Agreement.
