June 17th Update!
Congratulations on finishing up the school year! What an amazing year it's been for our students. This year, PTA was able to directly invest over $25,000 into our students and staff - funding field trips, scholarships, the 6th grade celebration, panther pals, Donuts with Grown Ups, Culture Night, the student store, Playworks staff training, and more. Thank you for your support and trust. We hope to keep the good work going next year.
We hope to see you at the Aqausox game on July 21st. If you have vegetarians in the family and plan to attend the picnic portion, please let me know. We have to give them a final count for you. Order your tickets here: https://central-emerson-at-the-aquasox.cheddarup.com
The July 1st order deadline for school supplies is just around the corner. Remember, these are boxes with exactly what your teachers have requested - so you don't need to stress over finding them in the store. Don't wait, order now... these are your final days!

We have a unique volunteer opportunity for someone in our community. We are looking for someone to run the 1st ever Kla Ha Ya Days Frogtastic Kids Fair frog race July 19th on behalf of the PTA. Do you have the speed and ninja skills to leave the competition in the dust? All while dressed as a frog? The winner gets $1300 for their non profit. Reply to this email if you would like to take on this challenge for us. Thanks to everyone who made it out to our first ever car show! We raised just under $2000. We are also looking forward to hosting the community fun run "Chase the Grinch Out of Snohomish" in the winter for the first time. Our goal is to shift our fundraising to the community and away from our parents :) Stay tuned for more details. Enjoy your summer and we'll see you in the fall! Central Emerson PTA
