Janta Machinery Stores, the first step in this journey, became a cornerstone of trust in industrial and agricultural machinery. Managed by Mr. Abbas Ukani after taking over at the age of 12, the business flourished through sheer determination and careful management, eventually offering more than 10,000 products across central India. It was here that the Ukani ethos of quality, integrity, and customer-first service was solidified.

Building on this strong foundation, Central Agencies was established in 1996 under the Ukani Group to cater specifically to plumbing, sanitary, and agricultural segments. From pumps and pipe fittings, the business quickly expanded to water tanks, generators, bathroom accessories, and a wide array of hardware solutions. Today, Central Agencies is an authorized dealer for top brands such as Plasto, Finolex, Crompton, Kirloskar Brothers, Essco Jaquar, and Prayag, and continues to serve residential, industrial, and government clients with dedication.

As the group’s vision broadened, several other ventures were launched:

• Eastern Engineering Company focused on industrial machinery spares, lubrication systems, and mining equipment.
