Our 1st Lady

Pastor Edward Simmons' wife, and the 1st lady of Central Missionary Baptist Church, is the former Alisa (Dickerson) Simmons.

She was born, raised and educated in the Washington DC metro area (the DMV). She attended North Carolina Central University, Durham NC, and graduated cum laude at Strayer University; earning an Associate and Bachelor of Business Administration Degree.

1st Lady Simmons respects and loves her Mom and Dad (Derenda and Gregory Moore), Stepmom (Lillie Edwards), her family and siblings; as well as her extended family of in-laws. Her Father (Cyril Jones) has gone home to be with the Lord.

As she walks with God, and along-side of her husband in loving support, she hopes to help and encourage those put in her path, seeks to uplift the kingdom, and help the business of the church to move forward, while assisting in any capacity she can.

Sis Simmons is a Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt, a Friend, but most of all a Child of God.
