Over the years Jan has taken many great vacations but could not narrow it down to just one favorite. In her free time Jan loves to read. The Maine Diner, in Maine :), is Jan's favorite restaurant and she loves to eat fish. The thing Jan loves most about CCC is simply "the people".

Barbara Smetzer

Church treasurer, Barbara Smetzer, was born in Wooster and has lived here for a long time but wasn't willing to tell us how long :). Barbara has one cat who is very spoiled, Susan The Cat, and she lists her favorite vacations as trips to the casino, beaches, or visiting historical places. Barbara enjoys working in the yard, playing board games, collecting troll dolls and campaign buttons, and of course watching the Cleveland Indians and Ohio State Buckeyes. She is rather fond of milk chocolate and says that her favorite restaurant is a toss up between Steak n Shake, Master's Pizza, Tumbleweed, and Longhorn. Barbara most loves the members here at CCC. She says, "They are the most generous, caring, and compassionate group of people I've ever dealt with. When they hear of someone's misfortune, the response is not 'Gee, that's too bad'...it is 'What can I do to help'."
