Hey, I'm Sarah.
I’m a coach, yoga teacher, and a proud Enneagram 6 — which basically means I’m always practicing the art of shifting from scarcity into abundance - and trying to help others do the same.
I created Money Magic because I wanted to build a space where people could really unpack their money stories — not just fix things on a spreadsheet, but feel them in the body, question them with compassion, and rewire them with clarity. And of course have some fun along the way — because healing doesn’t have to be heavy!
Like everyone, Money and I have a long history. I grew up in a household that lived paycheck to paycheck. I did two full-time volunteer programs, worked for several years at nonprofits, and became so comfortable being broke that I thought it made me morally superior (spoiler alert: it doesn’t!).
But over time, I realized I wanted more. I wanted to say yes to opportunities, to experiences, to life — without money always being the reason I said no.
Since no one had ever taught me about money, I decided to teach myself.
Starting in 2018, I devoured everything I could get my hands on — books, podcasts, YouTube deep dives, you name it. And slowly, it paid off:
I saved $10,000 in a single year while earning just $32,000 pre-tax and financially supporting my partner at the time.
I paid off my student loans 7 years early.
I self-funded a year long sabbatical, traveling across the U.S. and internationally while focusing intentionally on my mental health.
Yes, there were moments of panic. Yes, the scarcity mindset crept in. Yes, there were tears. It wasn’t always easy, but with discipline, community, and listening to my intuition, it was all worth it!
Taking a year away from a 9 - 5 gave me the space to rebuild. I completed a coaching certification, a 200-hour yoga teacher training, and my second reiki certification. More importantly, I got clear on how I wanted to live and how I wanted to serve.
One thing became obvious: Real financial change doesn’t just come from earning more or spending less. It comes from changing the way you think about and relate to money.
Now, through Money Magic, I support others in making that shift — moving from scarcity and shame into ease, empowerment, and overflow.
I believe that the more we talk about money with honesty and compassion, the more we can collectively move toward justice, liberation, and genuine wealth in every sense of the word.
When I’m not coaching or teaching yoga, you can find me upside down in aerial silks, listening to Beyonce, or stopping to smell the ponderosa pines mid-hike.
