Center for Economic Research on Globalization

With the rapid growth of communication along with transportation and the gradual comprehension of the international trading and division, human society has entered an unprecedent globalized era. In this novel era, knowledge associated with labor, technology, capital, and resources flow intimately across countries. Therefore, the politics, laws, and economics of a nation in a traditional sense has turned more and more meaningless while a new international system featuring trading and economics growth arises. Our center focuses on the content of such phenomenon and look ahead its future prospects. We aim to evaluate the globalization impact on Taiwanese economy and propose policies accordingly by cooperating with both academic and industrial professions. We highlight on the academic knowledge and practial policies on the aspect of technology development, government policy, and institution adoption.
