Coach Information

Background & Education: Born and raised in Riverside California, Coach Voss started her water polo career in 2004 at Riverside Poly High School and continued that journey through her time at Riverside Community College (RCC). While at RCC she obtained 3 Associates Degrees; AA in Humanities, AS in Math & Science, and AA in Kinesiology Health and Wellness.

In 2007 she was a part of RCC's undefeated State Championship Team that achieved an astounding 35-0 record.

After attending RCC she transferred to California Baptist University (CBU) where she completed a Bachelors of Science in Health Science in 2016, with a focus in Biological Sciences. 

She continued her education at CBU by completing a Masters of Science in Education and completed her Teaching Credential in Biological Sciences. 

Coach Voss is currently working at Centennial High School as a General Biology & Physical Education Teacher. She also has experience teaching as an Adjunct Faculty at the college level for Interdisciplinary Studies through Norco College.

Coaching Experience: While working on her education at RCC she coached a variety of age groups including local club swim teams serving children between the ages of 7-15. She also volunteered at her high school alma-mater during the summer after her graduation from Riverside Poly. 

Coach Voss began working as a Head Coach of the Boys Varsity Water Polo Team since 2018 and Head Coach of the Girls Varsity Water Polo Team since 2020.

2021 - Boys Water Polo - CIF-Southern Section Playoff Birth - First ever in Cen10 history

2022 - Girls Water Polo - CIF-Southern Section D5 Champions - First ever in Cen10 history

2022 - Girls Water Polo - CIF D3 State Regional Champions - First ever in Cen10 history & first Inland team in history

2022 - Press Enterprise IE Coach of the Year & CIF-SS Division 5 Coach of the Year 

2024 - Girls Water Polo - CIF Southern Section D3 Champions

2024 - Girls Water Polo - CIF D2 State Regional Semifinalist

2024 - CIF-SS Division 3 Coach of the Year

Background & Education: Coach Blevin began playing water polo at Santiago in 2007 as well as Swimming. After High School she went on to join the Marine Corps where she trained with Marine Corps Water Safety Instructor Trainers and organized water polo games between platoons. 

She moved back home in 2016 where she began coaching at a local club swim team while attending California Baptist University (CBU). While attending CBU Coach Barton earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and is continuing her education by pursuing her Master’s degree in Forensic Psychology.

Coaching Experience: While coaching for a local club swim team, she worked with many different age groups including 5 – 15 years of age and a master’s group for adults, 18+. In addition, she also coached JV Swim at Santiago for 2017 and 2018 swim seasons.

Coach Blevin has been our JV Head Coach for Centennial Boys and Girls Water Polo Team since 2020
