The National Intelligence Service establishes and distributes security measures for ‘information and communication devices with security functions’ (hereinafter referred to as ‘IT security products’) introduced and operated by the state and public institutions in accordance with Article 4, Paragraph 1, Subparagraph 4 of the National Intelligence Service Act, Article 9, Paragraphs 2 and 3 of the Cybersecurity Work Regulations, and continuously verifies compliance with these during the introduction and operation process.

As part of this, the National Intelligence Service has established verification standards for the image information processing device product group1) among the IT security products introduced and operated by the state and public institutions and has reorganized the introduction standards and procedures.
