I’m walking in the park and I’m thinking:

What is the time of the year?

I turn around,

And I can see:

The flowers are growing around me,

The birds are singing in the trees,

And children are searching for the eggs.

Suddenly, I look down

And I can see:

An Easter bunny is looking at me.

He says the news:

- It’s spring, my friend.

And he is rushing on his way,

To bring our eggs on Easter day.

As the Sun rises and the Moon sets away,

A new day to celebrate Easter is here.

Bells toll and voices speak of love and cheer,

The day that brings us all so near.

The air is filled with colour of eggs and flowers of spring,

The streets are filled with songs and shouts of cheer,

As we celebrate this joyous holy day,

Together as family we are here.

With the blessings of the spring and summer,

We come together to celebrate this day,

As Easter brings us love and joy,

Baskets are full of eggs and pastel hues,

A vibrant scene unfolds before me.

Spring flowers bloom, green color,

Brings hope and peace to Easter's light.

Families hug, hearts warm and sweet,

Easter feast, a joyful sight.

Love hugs, warm as the Sun,

New beginnings, just started.
