I had a wonderful experience at CEHDE. The classes were very well planned and interesting. The teachers were so encouraging and made me feel very welcome. The town was very safe and I felt totally at ease exploring it on my own. The home stay was very comfortable and the food I was offered there was top notch. All in all I was very happy with my time spent there.

Een geweldige school met zeer bekwame docenten. Mijn niveau werd goed ingeschat en mn juf zorgde er voor dat de 4 uur per dag afwisselend waren. Ze nam me mee het centrum in om te oefenen met vrienden en liet me de omgeving van Santa Lucía zien. Ook het gezin waar ik verbleef was erg fijn! Heel lekker eten en bezorgde, lieve mensen. Een geweldige ervaring die ik zeker aan zou raden, voor elk niveau!

I studied here for a week as I headed south. Miriam was my teacher 1:1 and we spent a lot of time in practicing conversational spanish, which is what i wanted. She knew everybody in Santa Lucia and we would walk around engaging in real - world conversations. German worked the ground and was super-helpful in getting me settled in. I camped in my RV across the street with my dog and that worked out nicely.

I had the pleasure of studying at the school for a week.
Heydi, a teacher and administrator, was so incredibly warm and helpful. She not only helped organize everything with my homestay, but was also an excellent teacher. I also had the opportunity to work with Amy. She was also excellent and I appreciated the chance to hear two different accents and experience two different styles. Both were well-prepared, organized, and very friendly.
Santa Lucia is a very charming, tourist town just 20 minutes from the bustle of Tegucigalpa.
I definitely recommend Centro Hondureño. My only reservation is that it’s more expensive than language schools in Guatemala, but it’s still very affordable.

An amazing school in the loveliest area of the city. They will go above and beyond to make sure you learn the language and have a good experience at the school/homestay! I miss it, and would recommend the school and it's people to anyone looking to learn Spanish.

Best Spanish school in the central area of Honduras. Besides teaching you the language on a fun and active way they also provide culture tips and hospitality programs. All of it on a great safe environment in Santa Lucía, little colonial town with a lovely weather.

Ich kann diese Schule wirklich nur empfehlen. Die Kommunikation mit der Verwaltung der Schule läuft einwandfrei und man findet dort immer Hilfe. Auch mein Nachhilfelehrer war sehr professionell und hilfsbereit. Auf meine Wünsche was den Unterricht angeht wurde super eingegangen und trotzdem wurde das Ziel nicht aus den Augen gelassen. Bei Problemen oder Fragen konnte man sich immer melden und hat zügig eine Antwort bekommen.
Also alle Daumen hoch 👍🏻 ☺️

I wasted a lot of time in Honduras with other Spanish teachers until I found this school. Until recently, they didn't advertise effectively. What a gem this place is. Located only 25 minutes outside Tegucigalpa in lovely and very safe Santa Lucia. The staff are welcoming, friendly, experienced and make learning Spanish enjoyable. Courses are tailored to your needs and can even be provided in your office or home if required. I believe this is easily the best place to learn Spanish in Honduras. Give them a go, they won't disappoint - coffee is pretty good too! If this review appears a little too gushing it’s simply a reflection of my relief at finally finding a place where I could start seriously learning Spanish

Tomé la clase casi dos meses y aprendí bastante. Los maestros y Jefe siempre ponen las atenciones a los estudiantes para dar mejor clase. No solo puede aprender español allí sino puede disfrutar el lugar hermoso. CHEDE es muy recomendable para aprender español. No dude.

Seriously wonderful staff, my Spanish improved so much in my time at CEHDE. Don't be fooled by the other dodgier Spanish schools in Honduras, this place is the best by far! They made everything easy and I had access to everything I needed. Also it's located in the safest area of the city. Thanks so much guys!

I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at CEHDE I'm very pleased with the classes I took and the teachers I had guiding me along the way to learn Spanish as fast and effectively as possible. I would catch a bus there every morning from Tegucigalpa and found the ride enjoyable and the beautiful mountain scenery up in Santa Lucia breathtaking. Felt like a small Italian village, but completely different of course because of Honduran culture, but just as charming. After looking into a few different Spanish courses in Honduras CEHDE felt like the most cost effective and professional course I came across, as well as the closest to Tegucigalpa. All of the teachers are very helpful and friendly, and we quickly became friends and would do fun activities on the weekends. It was a hands on and in depth experience, thank you to the CEHDE team.

My experience at CEHDE has been extremely positive! My partner and I travelled from New Zealand and the US to study Spanish. The school usually has large groups coming to study together as part of an institution from many different backgrounds and they also provide a homestay experience for those who need, CEHDE also takes on individual students and works with you to assure you get the best education and for a great price. I love the team here they are the loveliest and most kind hearted people you will meet. The school is on a large beautiful mountain property (with their own coffee and banana trees!!) in the heart of Santa Lucía just a short drive away from the capitals centre in Tegucigalpa. It's so beautiful and away from the busy streets of the city, it's a lovely place to explore for the day and very safe (probably the safest place I've explored alone thus far)! My partner who came with little to no understanding of Spanish has learned so much in his time here as have I. We are very grateful to CEHDE, thank you for the wonderful experience and to the new friends made long the way. If I could give more than 5 stars I would 😊 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
