For several years, the AATSEEL Open Houses provided students, families, and educators with opportunities to explore Central and East European languages and cultures. Bringing together university instructors from across North America, these events introduced visitors to academic programs, answered questions about language study, and highlighted educational and professional pathways connected to the region.
This website continues that mission by making many of those resources and connections available year-round. What began as a one-time event has been re-imagined here as an open house that stays available throughout the year—ready whenever you are ready to explore. There is no registration deadline, no schedule to follow, and no single route through the information. You can browse freely, focus on the topics that matter most to you, and return anytime.
