Cedar Mesa Community Club was founded in 1908 by a group of ladies living on Cedar Mesa. The members first met in members homes. By the late 1940's the group was too big to meet in homes. By a generous donation and fundraisers the clubhouse was built on land deeded to the club from a community member, with the hard work of husbands. The clubhouse remains much as it was in 1950. Originally the clubhouse was heated by a wood stove, which was later replaced with a pellet stove. Facilities at clubhouse remain the original outhouse for the property. In June of 2016 the clubhouse was added to Colorado State Register of Historic Places.
