As could be guessed from his qualifications, Dr. Hassoun is a lifetime learner who has collected his education from the four corners of the world. One could say that, during his education journey, he must have acquired at least some Asian resilience, European rigour, American efficiency, as well as Australian practicality! 🙂 His qualifications alone, however, do not solely reflect all of his merits. Starting from very humble beginnings in an environment riddled with social ills, Dr. Hassoun forged his way up to the very top, armed only with his unquenchable thirst for discovery, his single mother's unbelievable support, and the help and encouragement of a few good souls! On top of his education, Dr. Hassoun has around two decades of teaching experience in the higher education sector, as well as a few years of experience in the research sector.

Dr. Hassoun has complemented his education and experience with scientific research on education and has published his work in the annual conferences of one of the most known organisations of engineering education in the world (ASEE), for which he's still acting as an annual conference paper reviewer. Perhaps more importantly, he has successfully implemented his educational methods in his classrooms and has trasferred his invaluable insights to his learners around the globe.
