About Us

The mission of the Cedar Bay Elementary Library Learning Commons is to meet the information needs of our students and to provide support for parents and fellow educators through our collection of materials and resources, both physical and digital, as well as through collaboration with our information professionals. We hope to provide an inviting, comfortable, and safe space for children to come and connect with materials that will both educate and entertain them.

Mr. Tucker, Librarian

Hello everyone! My name is Mr. Jason Tucker, and I am the librarian here at the Cedar Bay Elementary Library Learning Commons. I received my Bachelor of Arts in English at Coastal Carolina University and my Master of Library and Information Science at the University of South Carolina. I love reading fantasy, science fiction, manga, and comic books. When I am not at the library, you can find me at home drinking coffee and relaxing with my two dogs and cat. Looking forward to seeing you all in the library.
