Current Projects
Urban Water is a water consultancy dedicated to promoting sustainability in urban restaurant settings. Building on the insights gained from my National Geographic collaboration, Urban Water focuses on assessing water usage in restaurants and identifying practical solutions to minimize waste.
Our mission is to create a measurable impact on urban water conservation by working directly with restaurant owners to implement sustainable practices. From installing water-saving technologies to educating staff on conservation methods, Urban Water aims to make water sustainability both accessible and effective.
Urban Water is currently in its development phase, with plans to partner with restaurants across major cities to drive meaningful change. In the long term, our goal is to advocate for legislation that requires restaurants to adopt sustainable water practices, ensuring a lasting impact on urban water usage.
Stay tuned for updates as Urban Water continues to grow and make a difference.

Completed Projects
This National Geographic collaboration focused on studying and promoting water conservation practices within restaurants across New York City. The project aimed to assess water usage patterns, identify areas for improvement, and explore strategies to minimize water waste.
During the data collection and analysis phase, we gathered insights from a diverse range of NYC restaurants, uncovering significant opportunities for improvement. The collaboration brought together various stakeholders to raise awareness about the importance of water conservation and its role in creating a more sustainable restaurant industry.
Although the project concluded without receiving funding, it provided valuable insights and laid the groundwork for future initiatives in water sustainability.

Staying Alive: The Benefit of Hands-on CPR and AED Training for High School Athletes
Our proposal addresses the critical need for CPR training among student athletes in high schools. Recognizing the alarming rate of sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) incidents during sports activities, we advocated for the integration of comprehensive CPR training programs tailored specifically for student athletes. The lack of CPR knowledge among student athletes leaves them ill-prepared to respond effectively to cardiac emergencies, jeopardizing lives on the field or court. Through collaboration with school administrators and healthcare professionals, we developed and implemented these programs in several high schools, aiming to equip student athletes with essential life-saving skills.
As a result of our advocacy efforts, several high schools have embraced our proposal and integrated CPR training into their athletic programs. These initiatives have empowered student athletes with the knowledge and skills to recognize the signs of SCA and perform CPR effectively, increasing the likelihood of survival for individuals experiencing cardiac emergencies. By bridging the gap in CPR training for student athletes, we have taken a significant step towards creating safer sports environments and saving lives in high schools across our community.
