Mangomics-Access, previously Amis des manga, is a French non-profit organisation which transcribes manga (Japanese comics) and comics for visually impaired, blind and persons who cannot read the original manga/comics. Mangomics-Access members (called Mongooses) are captivated by Japanese culture. They want to share their passion and work on different lines: to transcribe manga and comics, meaning adapation of feelings and actions, with original dialogues, in text file; to narrate as a audio book; and to raise awareness of handicap.
In this organisation, I transcribes 5 manga since 2014 and I join the board of directors as secretary since 2016. I also participated to conferences such as Japan Expo, Anim'Est or Necronomi'Con in France, for example. I also raised awareness of visual handicap at Institut de la Vision, in Paris (France).

The UK Eye Genetics Group (UK-EGG) was set up in December 2002 for ophthalmic clinicians and clinical geneticists with a specialist interest and expertise in ophthalmic genetics, to keep up to date in the field of clinical ophthalmic genetics which is a rapidly evolving specialty. The aims of the group are to disseminate the following information:
NHS initiatives in ophthalmic genetics and relevant funding
Centers offering molecular genetic analysis
Update of current research in ophthalmic genetics
Provide a forum for interaction between clinicians and scientists
Share research in applied fields
Open discussion group
I joined UK-EGG team as secretary in 2021.
