Unit 6 - Short & Sweet !

This unit reviews some of the equations we studied in the past as well as builds on our understanding of basic probabilities.

Day 1: Flip coins to run a simulation about a couple that wants to have a baby girl...compare

experimental probability from simulation to theoretical probability (which we will find)

Day 2: Law of Large numbers - aggregate data from all 5 class sections and compare to individual

data...introduction to conditional probability, real life applications

examples for conditional probability (a few weird symbols, we can keep it simple):

Day 3: More conditional probability problems, using a table and tree diagram to solve (SAT has questions like these)
