Lap belt-pelvic bone interaction (Computational reproduction of Moreau et al., 2023)
This work is aimed at development of a strain-based injury risk function of iliac wing fractures during lap belt-pelvic bone interaction. This type of injury is common in frontal collisions in which large impact forces are transmitted to the pelvic bone through the engangement with the seat lap belt.
