Travel / accommodation information

Please find below the travel and accommodation information for conference participants. Participants may choose accommodation in Berrechid, Casablanca, or Settat. All three locations provide convenient access to the conference venue.

For participants arriving by Air, the nearest international airport is Mohammed V International Airport in Casablanca. The airport is directly connected to the Moroccan national railway network. Train schedules and ticket reservations are available online at: https://www.oncf-voyages.ma/

Accommodation Options

Option 1: Accommodation in Berrechid

Berrechid is located approximately 25 minutes from the conference venue. Suggested hotels include:

From Mohammed V International Airport, Berrechid can be reached:

• by taxi (approximately 24 minutes), or

• by train: take the train from the AEROPORT Med V train station to Casa-Oasis Train Station, then take a connecting train from Casa-Oasis to Berrechid train station.

During the conference days, the Faculty of Economics and Management of Settat will arrange transportation between the recommended hotels in Berrechid and the conference venue.

Option 2: Accommodation in Casablanca

Participants who wish to explore the city of Casablanca may choose to stay there during the conference. From Mohammed V International Airport, take the train from the AEROPORT Med V train station to Casa-Oasis train station (30 min).

Suggested hotels near Casa-Oasis train station include, for example:

From Casa-Oasis Train Station, participants can take a direct train to Settat train station (around 4 Euros, 45 min).

From Settat train station, the conference venue is approximately:

• 20 minutes by small taxi (around 1 Euro), or

• 25 minutes by bus (around 0.5 Euro).

Taxis are available directly at the exit of the train station, while the bus stop is approximately a 4-minute walk away.

Option 3: Accommodation in Settat

Participants may also choose to stay directly in Settat.

From Mohammed V International Airport, participants can take the train to Settat train station, with a connection at Casa-Oasis train station.

Hotels in Settat are located a short taxi ride from the conference venue. From the city center or the train station, the Reception and Conference Center of Hassan First University of Settat can easily be reached by small taxi or the bus.
