Field Education Tour (Optional)

8:00 am-8:15 am: Boarding shuttle buses (2) by Francis Marion Hotel (387 King Street, Charleston SC 29403)

8:15 am-8:45 am: Driving to AmplifiedAg (1159 Cainhoy Road, Charleston, SC 29492)

8:45 am-10:15 am: Tour of AmplifiedAg (CEA engineering and manufacturer)

10:15 am-11:00 am: Driving to Wadmalow, SC (2349 Black Pond Lane, Wadmalaw Island, SC 29487)

11:00 am-12:00 pm: Tour of Ambrose family farm (Field vegetable production for community-supported agriculture)

12:00 pm-12:30 pm: Driving to USDA-ARS, U.S. Vegetable Laboratory (2700 Savanah Highway, Charleston, SC 29414)

12:30 pm-1:30 pm: Lunch buffet (catered lunch from Tomato Shed)

1:30 pm - 4:30 pm: Tours of USVL and Clemson University CREC (in 3 groups, rotating every hour, Research lab/PODS/CREC)

4:30 pm-5:00 pm: Return to Francis Marion Hotel (387 King Street, Charleston SC 29403)
