Environmental Engineering and Water Resources Specialization Courses
In this specialization, students may take up to 12 credits of specific graduate-level coursework to simultaneously satisfy the B.E. and M.E. degree requirements. Unlisted courses taken as an undergraduate are allowed but do not count towards the M.E. degree. Classes taken to fulfill the B.E. Specialization Elective cannot be repeated for additional M.E. Elective credit.
As a B.E. student, take the following as specialization core and electives:
Required specialization core – take both:
· CE H6600 Engineering Hydrology (3cr)
· CE H8300 Air Pollution and Control (3cr) or CE H8400 Solid Waste Management (3cr)
Specialization electives – select and take two of:
· Any Civil Engineering (CE) course approved as an Environmental Engineering and Water Resources M.E. Required Elective or Elective
for which the student has completed all necessary requisites, except for CE H1000, CE I9700, CE I9800, or CE I9900.
