Our parent volunteers are an essential part of our community—you help create the warm, organized, and encouraging environment that allows young artists to feel safe, supported, and inspired to do their best work. Whether you are assisting backstage, supporting events, or lending your talents behind the scenes, your presence matters and makes a meaningful difference.

Please read this Code of Conduct below, it exists to ensure that, together, we provide a positive experience for every student, family, and staff member. All of our volunteers are background check and cross checked in the national sex offender registry basis.
Thank you for choosing to volunteer with our organization. Parent volunteers play a vital role in creating a positive, safe, and supportive environment for all students, families, and staff. This Code of Conduct outlines expectations for behavior while volunteering at rehearsals, classes, performances, events, and related activities.
By volunteering, you agree to uphold the following standards:
Place the physical, emotional, and creative well-being of all students first.
Support a positive learning environment that encourages confidence, growth, and respect.
Remember that all students learn and develop at different paces.
Communicate with students, staff, fellow volunteers, and families in a respectful, calm, and professional manner.
Follow the chain of communication by directing questions or concerns to the appropriate staff member, not students or other parents.
Refrain from gossip, negative comments, or comparisons between students.
Follow staff direction at all times; instructional, artistic, and disciplinary decisions are the responsibility of faculty and staff.
Do not provide instruction, corrections, or discipline to students unless explicitly asked by staff.
Remain within assigned volunteer roles and responsibilities.
Help maintain a safe environment by following all studio, theater, and venue safety rules.
Never be alone with a student who is not your own child unless approved by staff and in accordance with organizational policy.
Immediately report any safety concerns, injuries, or incidents to staff.
Treat all students, families, staff, and volunteers with fairness, dignity, and respect.
Support an inclusive environment free from discrimination, harassment, or exclusion of any kind.
Use inclusive language and behavior at all times.
Respect the privacy of students and families.
Do not share personal information, casting decisions, disciplinary matters, or internal discussions outside of appropriate staff channels.
Avoid posting photos, videos, or information about students on social media unless permission has been granted and policies are followed.
Arrive on time and prepared for assigned shifts.
Wear required attire or volunteer identification if provided.
Refrain from disruptive behavior backstage, in studios, or in audience areas.
Represent the organization positively when interacting with the public.
Address concerns calmly and privately with staff, never in front of students or other families.
Accept feedback and redirection from staff with professionalism.
If a disagreement arises, prioritize collaboration and resolution over confrontation.
Volunteering must take place free from the influence of alcohol, drugs, or substances that impair judgment.
Follow all venue and organizational policies regarding prohibited substances.
Understand that failure to follow this Code of Conduct may result in reassignment or removal from volunteer duties.
The organization reserves the right to limit or revoke volunteer privileges at its discretion to protect students and the program.
