The Climate Disaster Laboratory (CDL) is a research group focused on understanding and projecting extreme weather events in the context of global climate change. Our research encompasses cold spells, heatwaves, and typhoons, as well as broader climate processes such as climate zone shifts, climate risk assessment, global and land surface modeling, and climate engineering. We also investigate radiative and non-radiative climate feedbacks using advanced attribution techniques.
