About Me

I work principally in the field of arithmetic geometry, lying at the intersection of algebraic geometry and number theory. I am especially interested in cohomological and homotopical methods, and a lot of my work involves combining techniques from geometry and algebra to answer essentially arithmetic questions. I spend a lot of time in particular thinking about the behaviour of p-adic invariants in characteristic p, and what these invariants can tell us about Diophantine geometry. I am currently a Lecturer in Mathematics at the University of Exeter
