The following is only the 2017 Programme of Events for the East Cheshire Branch only. The 2018 Programme will be confirmed shortly, and will then be posted here. When that has been done, you will be able download a single page summary for hanging in your tower by clicking here [for now, this only shows the 2017 calendar!]. If you use Google calendar, you will be able to import these dates directly into your calendar by downloading this file [again, that's only the 2017 calendar at the moment!]. If you don't know what to do with the programme file once you've downloaded it, the instructions for adding the branch programme of events to your calendar are available here. The file you'll download is called Branch Programme.csv

Congratulations to the team from St George's [Stockport] for winning the Guild 6 Bell Striking Competition for East Branch. Worth pointing out is that they rang Cambridge Surprise Minor whereas the other teams rang Plain Bob Doubles or call changes!
Of the proposed rule changes, the first was accepted. Under "Bell Restoration and Augmentation Fund", paragraph 2a, the words "previously without" are now deleted. However, the proposal to replace "Bell Restoration Officer" with "Bell Restoration Secretary" was rejected and will return to the Guild Committee for further consideration.
On a more positive (and more interesting?) note, work on the Guild website is clearly progressing and Tom Nestor from Goostrey will act as Guild Webmaster.

Webmaster's Warning: The following calendar is experimental. It shows all the POSSIBLE tower practices in the branch, and all the branch events through 2017. Don't rely on this calendar, as I still have some unconfirmed practice times, and some towers will not have informed me of any practice cancellations. Please check with the tower first to avoid disappointment.
