Court Officers attended State Installation and Workshops in June
Court officers attended a "ceremonial dress" installation to formally charge them in their new officer roles. After being charged, they attended a workshop with break-out sessions for each officer position, focused on individual specific duties, followed by a National and State information session for all officers.

The Budget Committee met on June 22 to review and plan the budget for the 2026-2027 term. Thanks to our members Diana Domingue, Sheila Dupuis, Connie Gagneaux, and Court Treasurer Annie Leger for serving on this year's Budget Committee. A special thanks to Beverly Wale, past Court Treasurer, for sitting in to lend support and guidance.
Court officers met on June 10 to review the proposed budget and plan the calendar for the 2026-2027 term. Many of these events will be discussed at the September meeting, so be sure to attend to find out what is ahead!
Thanks to all the members who accepted positions as committee chairpersons.

The Resolution that was passed at our 2025 Louisiana State Convention regarding the wearing of the chapel veil with our ceremonial dress was introduced at the National Convention as a motion to amend the Tools of the Trade Ceremonial Dress Protocol, and by an overwhelming vote, PASSED.
So, it will be optional for officers who process wearing their ceremonial dress, to wear a black or white chapel veil. Thank you to Angela Stelly and her court members for introducing it at the State Convention. All your prayers have been answered by our gracious God.

A rosary is recited every day of the year by one of our Catholic Daughters for an end to abortion, peace in families, and religious freedom in our country. Please make an extra effort to pray the rosary each day of the week you are assigned.
