USCCB Committee on Pro-Life is asking all CDA members to offer the following prayer daily from March 25 through June 30; when a decision on the availability of chemical abortion is expected.

Dearest St. Joseph, at the word of an angel, you lovingly took Mary into your home. As God’s humble servant, you guided the Holy Family on the road to Bethlehem, welcomed Jesus as your own son in the shelter of a manger, and fled far from your homeland for the safety of both Mother and Child. We praise God that as their faithful protector, you never hesitated to sacrifice for those entrusted to you. May your example inspire us also to welcome, cherish, and safe-guard God’s most precious gift of life. Help us to faithfully commit ourselves to the service and defense of human life-especially where it is vulnerable or threatened. Obtain for us the grace to do the will of God in all things. Amen.

Dues are till $20 for each member. Please take the time send them in now.

SPRING SALAD FUN CANCELLED

After careful consideration of many factors, the Spring Salad Fun previously scheduled for May has been cancelled.  Please make plans to join us for the Fall Salad Fun Night.  

Any donations given for the Spring Salad Fun will be used in the Fall.

The National Leadership Team has embarked on a research project to better understand Courts across the country to continue to work on programs and improve experiences with CDA. Please take this important survey by April 30, 2024.

The perpetual rosary

In each month's newsletter is the list of members assigned to the Perpetual Rosary.  A rosary is recited every day of the year by one of our Catholic Daughters for an end to abortion, peace in families, and religious freedom in our country. Please make an extra effort to pray the rosary each day of the week you are assigned.

3 O'CLOCK PRAYER TO THE DIVINE MERCY

You died Jesus, but the source of life flowed out for the souls and the ocean of mercy opened up for the whole world.  

O Fountain of Life, immeasurable Divine Mercy, cover the whole world and empty Yourself out upon us. 

O Blood and Water, which flowed from the Heart of Jesus as a fountain of mercy for us, I trust in You.

Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immoral One, have mercy on us and on the whole world (3 times).

Amen.

The CDA Vocations Cross is a gift from Fr. Brent.  The kit comes with a prayer booklet to guide you and your family in praying for priests and for an increase of vocations to the priesthood and religious life.

Members may sign up for a 2-week interval and are  encouraged to pray daily for vocations. To reserve,

Our Father in Heaven, moved by the Holy Spirit of Jesus Christ, Your Son and our Savior, we lift up our hearts to You and ask that, if it be Your will, You grant our request. May Your servant and native of Louisiana, Charlene Marie Richard, be raised to sainthood by the Holy Father, Successor of the Apostle St. Peter, and visible head of Jesus' Church on earth.

We entrust this prayer to You through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Mother of Jesus, under her title by which she is known as the Patroness of Louisiana: The Immaculate Conception.
