Web servers providing CD-HIT services online
CD-HIT web server is no longer available, as of October 2022.
The original CD-HIT server at UCSD recently died after 12 years of services. We thank UCSD for supporting the server.
Alternative options to use CD-HIT:
Run the program as command line tool locally
Install a local CD-HIT server. This can be done via Docker, https://github.com/weizhongli/cdhit-web-server.
If you are interested to host a community CD-HIT server on your computer for public users, please contact me ( liwz @ sdsc . edu). I can help set up the server and list it at http://cd-hit.org.
Note:
Gclust server. Gclust is new tool developed for clustering microbial genomic sequences, it can handle very long sequences.
