This agreement is made between Smart Digital Tech and [Client Name] for the installation of surveillance cameras, nvr/dvr video recording devices, and related hardware. The terms and conditions of this agreement are as follows:
1. Hardware Warranty:
- All cameras, NVRs, and any hardware installed by Smart Digital Tech are covered by the manufacturer's warranty, typically ranging from two to three years, depending on the specific manufacturer.
- Clients are encouraged to review the respective manufacturer's warranty agreement, which can be found online.
- Smart Digital Tech will inform the client about the specific manufacturer of the installed hardware upon request.
2. Labor Warranty:
- Smart Digital Tech provides a one-year warranty on labor for the installation of surveillance cameras and related hardware.
- After the one-year period, if any hardware installed by Smart Digital Tech fails while still under the manufacturer's warranty, the installer will assist in the replacement process.
- Any travel and labor costs associated with the replacement or repair of the hardware after the one-year period are the responsibility of the client and not covered by Smart Digital Tech.
3. Exclusions:
The warranty does not cover damages or malfunctions caused by misuse, negligence, unauthorized repairs, modifications, acts of nature, or any other circumstances beyond the control of Smart Digital Tech.
4. Warranty Claims Process:
In the event of any issues or concerns regarding the hardware or installation covered under this Agreement, the Customer must promptly notify Smart Digital Tech in writing. Smart Digital Tech will assess the issue and, if deemed applicable under the terms of this Agreement, undertake necessary repairs or replacements.
5. Limitation of Liability:
Smart Digital Tech's liability under this Agreement is limited to the repair, replacement, or reinstallation of defective hardware or services covered under the terms of this Agreement. Smart Digital Tech shall not be liable for any consequential, incidental, or indirect damages arising from the use or inability to use the surveillance camera system.
