CREATOR CONNECTIONS TOOLKIT — PRIVACY POLICY
Effective date: October 26, 2026
OVERVIEW
This policy explains how Creator Connections Toolkit handles information while helping Amazon Influencers collect video ASINs, match those ASINs to Creator Connections campaigns, and prepare and send outreach to brands they select. It describes extension version 1.0.3 as reviewed on October 26, 2026.
The extension runs in Chrome and uses the Amazon account already signed in to the browser. This version has no external toolkit server, developer-operated data collection endpoint, third-party analytics, advertising system, or account-registration service.
INFORMATION THE EXTENSION HANDLES
Video and product metadata: video titles, video identifiers and URLs, upload dates, duration, tagged and associated ASINs, and indicators showing which metadata was collected.
Creator account and campaign context: the storefront URL entered by the user or found in the video metadata, Amazon creator and store identifiers used to keep results associated with the correct account, relevant Amazon campaign URLs, campaign and brand names, campaign status, dates, commission information, and budget information when Amazon returns it.
Messages and outreach records: introduction and follow-up templates, storefront links and any personal information the user chooses to include, prepared message text, selected campaign recipients, ASINs, send and acceptance status, timestamps, and local outreach history. To identify the intended brand, choose between an introduction and a follow-up, preserve an existing unsent draft, and verify a send, the messenger reads relevant conversation content displayed on the Creator Connections page. It does not maintain a separate archive of entire brand conversations.
Operational activity: scan progress, checkpoints, search timing, selected campaigns, local error information, and batch status used to run, stop, and resume the requested workflow. This is limited to operation of the toolkit; this version does not collect general browsing history, location, keystroke logs, mouse movement logs, payment-card details, or health information.
WHY THIS INFORMATION IS USED
Information is used only to provide the disclosed creator workflow and related operational functions: collecting and exporting video ASINs; removing duplicate inputs; searching and displaying campaign matches; checking the account associated with a scan; preparing and sending messages to selected brands; performing the optional campaign-acceptance action; preventing unconfirmed sends from being retried automatically; and preserving settings and progress.
The exporter and matcher run when the user starts or resumes them. A running matcher may continue while its dashboard is closed. The messenger can restore an active batch after campaign-page navigation. The user can stop remaining work, but stopping or uninstalling the extension cannot recall a message Amazon already received.
WHERE INFORMATION IS STORED
Saved toolkit data is stored in the current Chrome profile using Chrome extension storage and IndexedDB. Temporary tab and session state is stored using Chrome session storage. The extension does not use Chrome storage.sync for its application data. Browser-profile backups or other device-management services are outside the extension's control.
CSV and JSON files requested through export or troubleshooting controls are downloaded to the user's device. The developer does not automatically receive those exports or diagnostics.
INFORMATION SENT TO OTHERS
Amazon receives the authenticated page requests, campaign searches, and other Amazon requests needed to carry out the workflow. Message text is submitted through Amazon Creator Connections to the brand selected by the user. Optional campaign acceptance is also submitted to Amazon. These communications use HTTPS and the existing signed-in browser session.
The extension does not read, copy, or store Amazon passwords or authentication cookies directly. Chrome handles the existing session when authenticated requests are made. Public creator and store identifiers used for search context are stored with the local scan state.
This version does not send toolkit data to the developer or an analytics provider, sell user data, or transfer it for advertising, unrelated purposes, creditworthiness decisions, or lending. If a user independently shares an exported file or contacts support, that sharing is a separate user action. Privacy practices of the service hosting this policy, the Chrome Web Store, Amazon, or a support communication provider are governed by those services' own policies.
RETENTION AND DELETION
Saved data remains in the Chrome profile until the relevant settings, lists, or saved records are changed or removed, or the extension's local data is deleted. Some queue-clearing controls intentionally preserve outreach history. For a complete removal of the extension's locally saved application data, uninstall the extension through Chrome's extension manager.
Uninstalling does not delete CSV or JSON files previously downloaded to the device; delete those files separately if desired. It also does not remove communications or accepted campaigns already held by Amazon. Manage those records using Amazon's available controls or contact Amazon.
CHROME WEB STORE LIMITED USE
Creator Connections Toolkit's use of user data adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Data is used only for the disclosed single purpose and related operational functions. It is not sold or used for personalized advertising, unrelated profiling, creditworthiness, or lending.
CHANGES AND CONTACT
This policy should be updated if the extension's data-handling practices change. Changes requiring a user disclosure or consent must also be presented in the extension as required by Chrome Web Store policies.
For questions about this extension or its handling of information, contact the publisher using the contact email shown on the Creator Connections Toolkit Chrome Web Store listing.
