In 2010, Calamba Bayside National High School (CBNHS) opened Calamba City Science Integrated School as an Annex School for Special Science and Math Curriculum. By virtue of Sangguniang Panlungsod Resolution No. 225, which recognized Calamba Bayside National High School Annex as an Independent High School and named it Calamba City Science High School (CalSci), the school was moved to its original location at Chipeco Avenue on March 1, 2013. This move was initiated by the Local School Board under the leadership of the late Mayor Joaquin M. Chipeco, Jr., and the late Schools Division Superintendent, Dr. Myrna P. Pamplona.
Initially operating in borrowed classrooms at Real Elementary School, the late Mrs. Rizalina D. Panghulan, then a Master Teacher, assumed the role of the first designated officer-in-charge. She was joined by a team of esteemed educators from various departments who served as pioneer mentors to the inaugural batch of young scholars. Together, they laid the groundwork for a culture of academic excellence and a commitment to holistic education that continues to define the institution today.
The Calamba City Science Integrated School (CCSIS) prioritizes high-quality education through a dedicated administrative and faculty team. With a mission to prepare students for both higher education and the workforce, CCSIS adopts a holistic approach that nurtures values, knowledge, and essential skills. Emphasis is placed not only on academic achievement but also on character formation, enabling students to meet the demands of modern life with competence and confidence.
