Hope Begins with Understanding: CCSAP offers education and awareness paired with support for individuals in crisis and families affected by suicide.
About Us
Campbell County Suicide Awareness and Prevention (CCSAP) is a dedicated team committed to raising awareness about mental health, strengthening suicide prevention efforts, and connecting people to the resources they need. We work to support individuals in crisis, families impacted by suicide, and community members seeking guidance, education, and hope.
Our mission goes beyond reducing suicide deaths in our community. We strive to build connection, install hope, and create a strong sense of belonging where no one feels alone in their struggles. In a place where the motto is often “Cowboy up,” we proudly say: YES — cowboy up and talk about it. Healing begins with conversation, and no one should have to sit with their pain by themselves.
CCSAP believes that reaching out is a sign of strength. Whether you are facing a crisis, supporting a loved one, or seeking resources after loss, we are here to walk alongside you. Together, we can create a community where people feel seen, supported, and empowered to ask for help.
