CoachConnect is a personal fitness coaching application. We operate from Ireland and may be contacted at: jrojas@coachconnect.fit. We operate as CoachConnect Technologies Limited, registered in Ireland.
Personal Information: Name, email address, gender, weight, height.
Fitness Information: Training goals, past injuries, workouts completed, calories burned.
We collect data when you register or log in (via Google, Apple, or email), enter your fitness profile or training preferences, use features within the app (e.g., routine generation, progress tracking), or interact with cookies or usage logs.
We use your data to:
Create personalized fitness plans tailored to your profile
Track workout completion and progress
Improve app functionality and performance
Respond to user support requests
Send product-related emails, including updates, new features, and service announcements relevant to your use of CoachConnect. You may opt out of these communications at any time by contacting us or using the unsubscribe link in any email
Comply with legal and regulatory obligations
We do not sell your data to third parties.

We use trusted third-party services to operate our app:
Firebase – Authentication, storage, analytics
OpenAI, L.L.C. – AI-generated workout routines
GitHub – Code and version control (no user data)
YouTube API – Retrieval of workout videos
Google / Apple – Sign-in and account management
These providers may process data on our behalf and are required to provide data protection standards consistent with GDPR or equivalent protections.
We take appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit, secure authentication (e.g., Firebase), and regular monitoring of third-party services.
We retain your personal data only as long as necessary to provide services you use, comply with legal requirements, or respond to support or account requests. You may request deletion at any time.

Our app uses cookies or similar technologies to remember preferences and track usage analytics. You may control cookie settings through your device or browser.
CoachConnect uses OpenAI, L.L.C. to generate personalized workout routines. When you request an AI-generated routine, we securely transmit certain personal data to OpenAI solely for this purpose. This may include your name, gender, weight, height, training goals, past injuries, available equipment, and workout history. We do not send payment information to OpenAI. Your data is transmitted using encrypted connections. You will be asked for explicit consent within the app before any AI-generated routines are created.
