The College

Nya. Tatyasaheb Athalye Arts, Ved. S. R. Sapre Commerce and Vid. Dadasaheb Pitre Science College College, (ASP College) Devrukh founded in 1972, is one of the premier colleges in Ratnagiri District permanently affiliated to Mumbai University and is recognized by UGC under 2 (f) 12 (B). College is Re-accredited with A grade on March 28, 2016, by NAAC Bangalore. College is the recipient of the Mumbai University Best College Award in the year 2010. The UGC and the University of Mumbai have conferred autonomous status on this college w.e.f. 2019-2020 for the initial period of ten years. This is the first college in the Konkan belt comprising of four districts to obtain this status of honour. Considering the autonomous status, the NAAC Bangalore has extended the third cycle NAAC grade for the period of five years starting from December 31, 2019.

Since inception, it has been working with a vision to provide quality higher education to rural students, empowering them to cope-up with the competitive world. The college has, consistently, been endeavoring to upgrade the rural talent and intellect and motivating to develop competence among economically and socially underprivileged rural students.
