Han-Ik Joh is a professor at Konkuk University and leads the Carbon Convergence Materials Laboratory (CCML). His research advances carbon-based materials and electrocatalysts for energy conversion and storage—including fuel cells, water electrolysis, and rechargeable batteries—with an emphasis on durable supports, next-generation electrode architectures, and scalable manufacturing. He has authored numerous publications and patents and collaborates globally to translate materials innovations into practical devices.
