The Library is open from 7:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Friday, and from 7:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m on Saturday. The Library is CLOSED on Sunday and on all legal and College holidays (see Academic Calendar). Shorter hours are in effect during winter and summer sessions.

Any member of the public (18 or older) may visit the Library.
ONLY currently enrolled CEC/ECC students may check out materials, use reserve books, access the databases or use the computer lab.
Current student ID cards (with semester sticker) act as library cards. A government-issued picture ID must be shown to library staff for the first checkout.
To get a student ID card:
Overdue items: NO FEES but cannot check out new materials and may not be able to enroll in new classes until item is returned.
Lost items: pay for ENTIRE COST OF ITEM. If a student has paid for an item and then finds it, they can have the payment refunded if the book is returned in satisfactory condition.

There are three B&W only photocopiers. Each copy costs 10 cents.
There is one COLOR printer/photocopier. Color copies cost 25 cents per page; color print jobs cost 50 cents per page. **NOTE: Print jobs must be in PDF format, and can only be processed via USB drive.
The Library has a small computer lab for bibliographic orientations and students taking online classes.
Computer labs are located on the upper floor of the Library-Student Success Center and in the Voc-Tech building; student ID number is required.
The Library has six study rooms available for groups of 2-6 students. Rooms are available for two hours per group, per day on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Library offers over 70,000 electronic books via EBSCO, which can be either read on a computer, or downloaded to a laptop, smartphone or tablet.
The Library also offers 37 multidisciplinary databases for access to electronic magazine and journal articles.
