This Privacy Policy describes how CacheLift: File Cleaner ("CacheLift", "we", "our", or "us") handles information when you use our mobile application and related features (the "App").
Please read this Privacy Policy before using the App. If you do not want information handled as described here, you should not use the App.
1. Scope of This Policy
This policy applies to the App and its cleaner features, including cache cleanup, large file sorting, screenshot cleanup, app management, and network activity information.
2. Local Feature Processing
When you use cleaner tools, the App may access and process information on your device, such as local storage items, file names, file sizes, file paths, screenshot-related metadata, installed app information, and network activity information needed to show the requested results.
3. Permission-Based Access
Some features require storage-related or device permissions. Permissions are used only for the feature they support, such as scanning storage paths, showing cleanup candidates, managing apps, or displaying network activity information. You can change permissions in Android settings.
4. Diagnostic and Usage Information
We may process limited technical information such as app version, device model, operating system version, crash data, diagnostics, and general usage events. This helps us maintain reliability, fix issues, and understand how the App is used.
5. How We Use Information
We use information to provide App features, display cleanup results, support user-confirmed removal actions, respond to support requests, improve reliability, prevent misuse, and comply with legal obligations.
6. No Upload of Core Cleanup Content
CacheLift is designed so file scans, cleanup analysis, screenshot review, and related cleanup decisions happen locally on your device. We do not upload your personal files or screenshots as part of the core cleaner flow.
7. Service Providers
We may use service providers for analytics, diagnostics, crash reporting, advertising, support, hosting, or similar operational needs. These providers may process limited technical information under their own terms and privacy policies.
8. Legal Disclosure
We may disclose information when required by law, regulation, legal process, valid governmental request, or to protect rights, safety, users, or the App.
9. Business Transfers
If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction subject to applicable law.
10. Retention
We keep technical and diagnostic information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy. Local device files remain under your control unless you choose to delete them.
11. User Choices and Rights
You can manage permissions through device settings. Depending on your region, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or withdrawal of consent where applicable.
12. Children
The App is not directed to children under 13 or the minimum age required by applicable local law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
13. Security Measures
We use reasonable safeguards designed to protect information. However, no app, network, or storage method can be completely secure.
14. Cross-Region Processing
Information may be processed outside your country or region. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for such processing.
15. Policy Updates
We may update this Privacy Policy. The Last Updated date will show the latest revision. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised policy.
