About Us

What is MUN?

Model United Nations is an educational simulation in which students can learn about diplomacy, international relations, and the United Nations. At a MUN conference, students work as the representative of a country, organization, or person, and must solve a problem with other delegates from around the world. MUN teaches participants skills including research, public speaking, debating, and writing skills, in addition to critical thinking, teamwork, and leadership.

Chatsworth MUN

In CCHS MUN meetings, we cover all aspects of MUN and prepare our delegates for conferences. During every club meeting, we cover MUN terms, do an activity, and break down speaking tips to make sure everyone excels during a conference. We host mock conferences for our members to make sure that everyone is prepared for a conference and give specific critiques on how to improve.

General Info

CCHS MUN holds meetings every Tuesday during lunch in room G51, where delegates will prepare for conferences by practicing speech and writing skills. We are an inclusive club where all members are welcome. For more information, join our Remind by downloading the app or visiting the website. Use code @muncchs20.
